"Very happy! Dragon's Pearl 3d/2n was a great choice"
We spent many hours researching where to go and who to sail with. We were very happy with our choice of Dragon's Pearl Junks. Here's why... 1. This was a quality cruise. They deliver what they promise on the website and in their literature. While more expensive than some, it was a good value. The only extra cost was for alcohol. Kayaking was included. 2. The scenery was wonderful in Bai Tu Long and never felt crowded. 3. So happy we went with the 3d/2n cruise. We had enough time to enjoy it. Besides, you take so much time planning and getting there you don't want to just quickly rush through it. Did not get tired of the beautiful scenery. 4. Nice junk. Only 11 cabins. They are small but adequate. Comfortable bed. Nice windows. Bathroom and shower was larger than expected. Plenty of deck space to relax and enjoy the views. 5. Good itinerary. Nice mix of sailing/relaxing, kayaking, time at fishing village. 6. Food was good. Not amazing, but good. Dinner in the cave was a unique and special experience. On the junk, there is an inside and outside dining area. The weather was great and we ate all our meals outside. You will be sitting with others so try to be friendly. We enjoyed meeting people from many countries. 7. Pick up from hotel in Hanoi was on time in a comfortable van. It is a long ride so this is important. Stopped along the way at Yen Duc for water puppet show and lunch. This was a nice extra. (And there is a stop at a large store with a chance to buy stuff, use the toilets and buy a snack). All the research paid off. We had a great experience. Visited November 2015

  • "Well worth the splurge! Fantastic experience!"
I spent hours and hours pricing, comparing, reading reviews, trying to decide if we should do the 2 night or 1 night and I am so glad we did the 2 night. It is a long ride to get there, 3-4 hours and I don't know if the water puppet show and lunch helped or not to break up the ride. So I picked this boat cause only 20 people on it and it was perfect to be able to get to know the others and promised kayaking which was really amazing. The cave dinner was unbelievable, it was like being in a national park cave for a private party. I cannot say enough good things about the whole staff, our guide, the bartender!, all were over the top excellent. Another reason to pick this junk was the windows ! 2 windows in our cabin and is that ever luxurious to lay in bed and watch the sights of the huge rock formations. Yes, it was pricey to us but what an experience, and the food was amazing, lots of choices. I say go for it, when are you going to have this opportunity to be in one of the most beautiful places in the world. No regrets here. Visited November 2015

    "3 days 2 nights tour"
Booked tour after reviewing Trip advisor, it was better than I thought. From the stunning scenery to the amazing dinner in the cave, it was unbelievable. Tour guide Duc kept the small group entertained, he was very informative on the local fishing culture which we visited on day 3. remember to bring bathers, camera and sunscreen. Food was delicious with lots of it. Cabins have AC and spacious bathroom with shower. But no access to WiFi. Crew friendly and attentive. Waters were calm so kayaking was fun but optional some on tour preferred to stay onboard. This was a great company so glad l choose this the Dragon Pearl . Totally relaxed after the madness of Hanoi

  • "Recommended "
Did a one night time cruise on the Dragon Pearl three The cabin was effectively air conditioned, though barely cramped. We had been fortunate sufficient to have one on the strict with a pleasant view aft. The out of doors eating space was beneath an awning throughout the day, and open to the celebs at night time. The meals was glorious. Solely takes about 20 individuals aboard so not crowded. We cruised to an island, and kayaked round it, then off to a different anchorage for swimming off the boat. After this to our sheltered in a single day spot. Subsequent day we had been rowed by a number of the native individuals to the floating village, an a go to to a pearl farm. Then leisurely cruise again to Halong Bay Port with Brunch simply earlier than going ashore. The crew was extraordinarily pleasant, the Director very entertaining. Spotlight of our journey to Vietnam, and would suggest to everybody.

  • "Not enough to Discovery all"
My good friend and I had a magical journey on the Dragon Pearl. Fantastic meals and properly taken care of by the crew and guide Kim. Loved swimming and kayaking, and visited a Pearl farm and floating village. So fortunate with the climate as the previous couple of days have been apparently not nice, and we noticed a ravishing sundown, whereas having fun with cocktails Visited November 2016

    "An actual deal with"
Spent two nights aboard and stunning can't sum it up. From the islands aplenty, the trips on the kayak, the lunch on the seashore to the floating village. The meals on the boat was good, they catered for a fish allergy and nothing was an excessive amount of hassle. A incredible experience

  • "Beyond our expectations-- 3 days, 2 nights with Tom Cruise"
Going to Bai Tu Long Bay (v. Ha Long) is effectively value it! Over 300 boats an evening dock in Ha Long, the place we solely noticed 6-7 boats every night time, at most. Tom was our host, and he was most gracious. Your entire employees was pleasant, skilled, and we particularly loved speaking with Spider Man and Ken! Spider Man could be a fantastic host at some point. My father and I did the analysis on this journey, and blindly picked DRAGON PEARL JUNK based mostly on the advice that Bai Tu Long Bay is much less crowded. We're so glad we did! With 11 cabins, it was the right measurement for our group of 5 to fulfill new folks, with out feeling overwhelmed. We had three lovable kids on our boat. Even with out TVs and wifi, the cruise was capable of entertain these well-behaved kids. The beds have been comfy, and the bogs have been far nicer than anticipated. We liked sleeping with our home windows open. The bartender didn't skimp on the cocktails, and we loved our sundowners on the rooftop deck. The insane variety of programs at every meal actually blew away our seafood-loving group. On my mom's birthday, she had considered one of her best-ever meals on the seaside barbecue... 9 programs! The employees even introduced out a birthday cake that night time, as the entire boat sang and a present was offered on behalf of the crew. Tom all the time had our greatest pursuits in mind, making ready us for every day's itinerary and climate, and making a presentation on the Bay. On the seaside barbecue, Tom was sort sufficient to tell us when the opposite boats would quickly be on the seaside, and he was proper... it rapidly acquired extra crowded, and we're grateful for our non-public oasis for the primary few hours. Lastly I would like to say Thanks to Ms. Angela who helped me to recommend this special program.
